Chris Samosa

Having started her career in St Helens Council, Chris moved into the NHS in 1987. She has undertaken a variety of Human Resources (HR) roles working in a Mental Health Trust, a specialist Tertiary centre, a community provider as well as a number of Primary Care Trusts and has held Director level posts for more than 30 years.

In addition to HR, she has also undertaken the role of Chief Operating Officer in a community provider and has managed communications, estates, commercial development and governance teams. She was also Deputy CEO at Bridgewater Community Trust before undertaking a strategic workforce role across Cheshire and Merseyside to encourage workforce collaboration between providers including social care.

Chris is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and also holds the ICSA certificate in Health Service Governance.
