Diagnostics
The Diagnostics Programme for Cheshire and Merseyside includes all types of diagnostic tests such as pathology, imaging, endoscopy, screening programmes, cardiorespiratory and physiological measurements relating to patients of all ages.
The Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostics Programme consists of five separate but co-dependent networks/portfolios:

Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC)
Digitally connected, multi-diagnostic facilities

Endoscopy Network
Consists of 12 endoscopy units at nine trusts

Radiology Imaging Network
Involves 12 trusts and consists of five programmes

Pathology Network
Includes seven provider sites across the region

Physiological Measurements
Services that predominantly focus on assessing the function of major organ systems
