North Mersey hyper-acute stroke services

It has been agreed that a new comprehensive stroke centre will be created at Aintree University Hospital, bringing together the hyper-acute care provided at Aintree, the Royal Liverpool and Southport hospitals.

The NHS in Knowsley, Liverpool, South Sefton, Southport & Formby, and West Lancashire held a related public consultation between 22 November 2021 and 14 February 2022.
