Public Question Times 2019
Wirral Health and Care Commissioning (WHCC), the partnership between NHS Wirral CCG and Wirral Council, is inviting the public to a series of question time events.
Since May 2018 the two have been working together as Wirral Health and Care Commissioning to plan, design and commission health and care services for Wirral.
This includes the care people receive at hospitals and in community clinics, social care, and initiatives to improve public health. The partnership allows for better joined up working and better value for the people of Wirral.
The leadership team from Wirral Health and Care Commissioning will be on hand to answer questions about how health and care services are commissioned in Wirral, and to listen to views on how services are currently working.
Question Time events will take place throughout 2019:
Tuesday 5th February 2019 - Heswall Hall - 6:30pm-8:00pm
Wednesday 3rd April 2019 – Bebington Civic Centre - 6:30pm-8:00pm
Wednesday 5th June 2019 – Birkenhead Town Hall – 6:30pm-8:00pm
The events will be BSL signed.
The February 5th Public Question Time event will begin with an overview of the newly-launched NHS Long Term Plan, followed by questions from the floor and questions submitted in advance. People will then have the opportunity to speak to members of the leadership team on a one-to-one basis over refreshments.
The events are open to all, but people are asked to register if possible using the firm below, via email WICCG.InTouch@nhs.net or by calling 0151 651 0011 to give an idea of numbers.
People can also submit a question in advance for any of the Question Time events by emailing WICCG.InTouch@nhs.net or calling 0151 651 0011.
